MACS: Multi-Layered Aramid Composite Cone SILENT Enclosure (Structurally Inert Laminated Enclosure Technology) SILENT ENCLOSURE - ULTIMATE STRENGTH* The SILENT* enclosure features a framework of high rigidity birch plywood combined with MDF for high internal loss, achieving an enclosure that blends high strength with low resonance. The enclosure's teardrop shaped rear section further reduces unwanted cabinet resonance as a result of the improved stiffness of the curved panels. Two available finishes, high gloss black, or wood veneer with a closed-pore satin finish, enhance the beauty of the curved cabinet design. SILENT: Structurally Inert Laminated Enclosure Technology Aerodynamic Port System AERODYNAMIC PORT SYSTEM* The bass reflex port utilizes the design concept of the compression driver and horn, seen in the TAD systems used by professionals. It features an aerodynamic port system based on the theory of precise fluid design. Its performance is such that it produces absolutely no air noise, even when the woofer unit is driven at the limit of its excursion range. Superb control of air flow and pressure inside the port greatly contributes to the realization of deep bass reproduction with unprecedented clarity.
